Clemons Sand Separators™️ can handle up to 150 psi and are made of carbon steel. They come with either threaded or flanged input and output connections. Compact models are designed for vertical placement, while larger sand separators are slanted for floor or ground installation.

How it works
The Clemons Sand Separator operates on a simple yet effective principle to remove sand and sediment from water. As water enters the separator, it is forced to flow in a circular pattern. This movement creates a centrifugal force, which throws the heavier sand and sediment particles outward towards the separator's walls. These particles then settle down and accumulate at the bottom of the separator. Meanwhile, the cleaner water, free from heavy particles, moves upwards and exits through the top. This process ensures a continuous and efficient removal of sand, improving water quality and protecting downstream equipment from abrasion and clogging caused by sand particles.
